DIY "Happy Trails" Western Themed Party Favor Bags - FREE PRINTABLE

Party favors are a huge part of my party planning process. When I was planning Liam's Round Up party, I went a little crazy making party favors (but I enjoyed every minute of it)! One of my favorites were these "Happy Trails" muslin favor bags filled with western themed trinkets.  They are very simple and easy to make with the kids!

What you will need:
1. Scissors
2. Iron On Transfer Paper
3. Home Printer
4. Muslin Drawstring Bags
5. Iron
6. "Happy Trails" printable file

Instructions:
1. Following the Iron On Transfer paper instructions, print the file. (Be sure to remember to set your printer settings to "Mirror Image")

2. Cut out the image.

3. Following the Iron On Transfer paper instructions, place the image on the bag in the desired location.

4. Following the Iron On Transfer paper instructions, iron on the image and remove the backing once cooled.

Yee Haw! It's that easy! Now just fill them up with your favorite western themed trinkets and they're ready for your little buckaroos!

Freebie: Spooktacular Chevron Tags

It's time for a SPOOKTACULAR Freebie! I am pleased to share with you our Chevron Halloween Tags. Perfect for classroom parties and party favors! Quick, easy and best of all, FREE!

These tags are designed to be versatile!
IDEAS:
Use a 3.5" punch to make them large favor tags or to attach to a gable box.
Use a 2.5" punch and glue them to lollipop sticks for cupcake toppers.
Use a 2.5" punch and attached them to 3.5" scalloped tags to make them layered tags.
Use a 2.5" punch and attach them to your candy dishes, etc.

Some items you may need to create tags.
Acrobat Reader to open pdfs
cardstock
printer
hole punch
lollipop sticks or toothpicks
ribbon
3 or 3.5 inch punch
2 or 2.5 inch punch

Meringue Bird Nests & Freebie Friday Easter Roundup

Happy Good Friday!

Today I'm sharing the Easter Bird Nests I made yesterday.  I was so excited when I found empty meringue nests at World Market.  So many ideas went through my mind, you can fill them with almost any sweet treat, whipped cream, fresh fruit, the possibilities are almost endless!  I immediately knew what I wanted to fill them with for Easter, colored coconut and jelly beans.

What you will need:
1 Package of Meringue Nests
Jelly Beans (chocolate candy covered candies or chocolate malted eggs would be great too!)
Green Food Coloring
1/2 cup of Coconut Flakes

 

Step 1:

In a small mixing bowl, add 2-3 drops of food coloring to the coconut and mix.  I used a fork to sift the coconut and evenly spread the food coloring.

Step 2:
Fill the Nests with coconut and top with Jelly Beans of your choice.

And that's it! A quick and easy Easter treat!  These would also be great for an owl party any time of year!
